HaPpY BiRtHdAy KASH!
What a joy you are to have in our family!
I sure miss not having a much time with you as I have
had with the other two boys, but when you are a little
bigger you can come and spend some time with Papa
and Grandma! We sure love you!

Swap and Shop

For the last three years the McCall 1st ward has been in charge of the swap and shop. This is where we take donations from the wards and the community, set it all up in the cultural hall
(it almost looks like a store). Then at 7:00 that night we open it up to the community and they can come in and take as much stuff as they want. This has been a great help to many families in the valley. It is a lot of work but very rewarding.

No Business Look Out

Larry and I took some friends that are here in Donnelly for the summers up to the
No Business Look Out. I was excited because I have not been up there either.
The view was spectacular! we could see all the way to McCall.
This is Lake Cascade, in the winter the let the lake drain so
the water is way down.

Women's Retreat

SEPTEMBER 19,2010
Lisa Pannell and I put together a Women's Retreat for all the ladies of the ward. We were able to get a wonderful gal Stephanie Hillman who is under contract with Desert Book and also a good Friend of Tara Colburn. Tara gave us her name and told us a little about her and was able to contact her and she was more then glad to come and do a little fireside on The Living Christ though music. She as FABULOUS! She has a wonderful voice! So very glad that we got to meet her and have here with us in this beautiful part of the country. We had an all day event starting with a brunch that the Bishop rick cooked up for us, followed by some very great conversation with the sisters. We then had a light snack about 1:00 followed by the ladies taking turns on a zip line that President and sister Lamb have right in their back yard! (by the way their yard is wonderful) Then we did a little craft and the High priests were there to cook us dinner! This was followed with our fireside and then homemade ice cream and brownies.
I was so happy with the way that the day turned out. The spirit was with us all day and it was just a wonderful day to connect with all the sisters.
