Fall Ride in Colorado
Saturday September 25, 2010 Doug planed a fall color ride for his friends and because I was in Colorado I got to go also. It was a great ride we started the ride at 7:30 in the morning. It was very, very cold! We all had on about 5 layers of clothing. By lunch time it was very nice but to be on a bike it was still cold. The colors were beautiful but allot of them had already lost their leaves. I was fun to be apart of my sisters group! all in all we had a great day!

Visitors, Kina and Leon
My Cousin Kina and her husband Leon came to visit me the end of July. It was so special to have them come all the way up here to visit. I just worked out that they were meeting their friends from Iowa in Boise and come to find out their friends were coming up this way so they decided to come a few days early and spend it with us. On the first day out being the tour guide in McCall we were driving down Warren Wagon Road and their was a car stooped and some people out taking pictures, we looked and to our amazement they were out with this BOBCAT! Yes I said Bobcat. He is a pet of this gentleman and he has raised him since he was 6 months old and he is now 6 or 7 I can't remember for sure. It was awesome, we got to pet him and kind of play with him.

Water Temp!
Chase has been wanting to go swimming and of course we don't have a pool up here so we swim in the lake. We were on our way home from McCall on Saturday and Chase said to me that we needed to stop by the lake and check to see if the water was warm enough. I told him I didn't think that it would be but we stopped anyway. We got out of the truck and he told me that since I had flip flops on I could stick my foot in and see how the water was. I did and I told him that is was to cold for Grandma. He then walked out and put his hand in and said " it's not that cold but it is a little cold" ha ha I told him that the only thing that warmed the lake was the SUN and the sun had not been shining allot lately!

Helping Hands
Last Weekend, Fathers Day weekend Mike and his friend Tanner came up for the weekend. The boys were such good help for Larry. Travis helped us pull out a couple of trees that did not fair so well this last winter. One was in the back yard and the other was a tree that has been in the ground for about three years but just could not pull through this spring.
The wench is hooked up and Travis is ready!
The prowler sure makes some of the tasks look easy!

Larry hooking up the wench on the tree.
And one, two, three, its out!

Then on Saturday Mike and Tanner hopped on the lawnmowers and they both mowed the two parks!
